Our Activities
A little of my story
As a medical student, I already thought that many of my teachers were wonderful professionals in their areas of knowledge, but teachers without teaching skills. This turned my attention to quality teacher training. My professional beginnings were as a researcher for 10 years at Unicamp, studying improving teaching through the use of computers.
Afterwards, for 25 years I worked at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília with health informatics and the application of active teaching-learning methods in health courses. To have intellectual independence in my research career, I completed a master's and doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Unicamp. In this way I improved my education, and to that end I completed a second master's degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, in the oldest Medical Education department in the world. I also did a fellow at the Faimer Foundation in the United States. A life of studies that I now dedicate to Instituto Educater, which I founded in partnership with Valéria Lacerda.
