As a student, I already thought that many of my teachers were wonderful professionals in their areas of knowledge. I often realized how good they were at solving people's health problems. On the other hand, as teachers they were very bad! This turned my attention to quality teacher training. Initially I worked for 10 years at Unicamp seeking to improve teaching through the use of computers. Afterwards, for almost 25 years I worked at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (Famema) with health information technology and the application of active teaching-learning methods in health courses. I completed a master's and doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Unicamp. To improve myself, I did a second master's degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago, in the oldest Medical Education department in the world. I also did a fellow at the Faimer Foundation in the United States. A life of studies that I now dedicate to the Educater Institute that I founded in partnership with Valéria Lacerda
